Leading process engineering company Briggs of Burton can trace their roots back to 1740. Briggs offer engineering knowledge and equipment to the Brewing and Distilling industries with offices in Rochester, New York and Burton-on-Trent, UK. Briggs is delivering projects worldwide with several notable US projects in the Brewing and Distilling industry. These include brewery expansions for Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas, and FX Matt in Utica, New York. In the distilled spirits sector we are in the process of commissioning the Bently Heritage Distillery, which is capable of producing whiskies, vodkas, and gins. Briggs provided the overall process and utilities design, design and manufacture of specialist equipment and also providing the site automation.
