The Beer Industry Program in the School of Hospitality, Events, and Tourism blends the art and science of brewing beer with the hospitality knowledge and operational skills desired by the beer and brewing industry, with multiple degree and non-degree options.
Situated in the heart of downtown Denver on the Auraria Campus, the University’s central location within Colorado and the nation offers students access to a considerable number of experiential learning opportunities. Students engage with breweries, restaurants, distributors and hotels within a few miles of the city center.
The Alcoholic Beverage QA/QC Services lab at MSU Denver offers analytical testing to breweries while educating and training our students to be expertly familiar with the latest equipment and analytical techniques. Lab rental and educational services are also available for sensory analysis, pilot brewing, and training for personal or professional use.
