Southwest Research Institute® (SwRI®) is an independent, nonprofit, applied research and development organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. SwRI uses multidisciplinary approaches to solve problems for a variety of government and industry clients. SwRI has over a decade of experience working in real-time sensing, data processing, and cybersecurity development and testing of secure sensor solutions in the areas of aerospace, automotive and autonomous vehicles, smart grid, oil and gas, home automation, and medical devices. SwRI has extensive experience with several standards and technologies such as IPv4/v6, Multicast, SNMP, XML, IEEE-1588, iNET, CCSDS, TENA, Spacewire, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.11, and GPS. SwRI has developed unique injection and fuzzing capabilities with multiple IoT protocols and is an active participant in the IEEE P1451-99 Working Group.
