Wilo USA is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, which is headquartered in Dortmund, Germany. Wilo is one of the leading manufacturers of pumps and pump systems for heating, cooling and air-conditioning technology, for water supply and for sewage & drainage. Founded in 1872, Wilo has evolved from being a local specialist to a global player. The company is represented worldwide in over 90 countries by more than 60 subsidiaries, including 21 production sites and employs more than 7,700 people globally.
In March 2017, Wilo USA acquired US pump manufacturers Scot Pump & Weil Pump, and component manufacturer Karak Machine Corporation. Weil Pump is a long-standing ASPE member as a manufacturer of wastewater pumps for the commercial building services market. Core products include submersible, vertical, grinder and dry well pumps. Stainless steel construction is available in submersible and vertical models. Submersible options include explosion-proof motors, removal systems and duplex pump valves. Weil also offers single-source complete basin package systems, including control panels designed and produced in-house.
