My modern geometric designs and patterns start from pen & ink drawings. I will vector the artwork and create patterns which are a lot of fun as the pattern takes on a life of its own that many times was not foreseen. It is very addicting to do, and now that I have a large diverse collection of them I am looking for ways to exploit them.
This is our first visit to Surtex and we are very excited about exhibiting our products and designs! Key details in deciding to participate in this year event are; the diversity and quality of the business that attend and the Design Challenge for this year define my art perfectly: “Modern geometric designs based on circles and squares”.
My designs are unique in the marketplace and I offer a designer the opportunity of taking one graphic element and exploiting it in every single aspect of their project. Imagine an interior space with total unity of design in: furnishings and textiles, wall covering/decor, flatware, housewares and decorative accessories. In addition to the space, the design can carry into the fabrics and jewelry of those in the space! How cool is that!
