Agnes Hardi received her diploma as a textile designer in 1983 from ENSAAMA (Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Appliques et des Metiers d'Art- the French national school of applied arts and design). Since that time she has designed independently for all of the most prestigious furnishings and fabric houses in France, Europe, and Asia. She acts both as a creative designer and as an artist on projects to execute the designs of her own independent creation, as well as collaborated designs that are commissioned to order. Since 2002 she has lived in the countryside of northern Burgundy.
