Serious Foodie has developed gourmet products for the home chef to create inspired restaurant quality food using simple cooking techniques. Each product has been created and produced with a small-batch artisanal approach – we respect the raw materials, knowing the origins of each ingredient. 


All of our products are gluten-free, use no artifical preservatives, non-GMO ingredients, and have many vegan options. Our team has mastered the craft of small batch production, and we have an experiential, intuitive, scientific, and inspirational understanding of what makes these products special.

Our first offering in the category of vinegar and dressings uses the very unique, exotic New Zealand tamarillo.  The tamarillo, also known as the “tree tomato”, is a super fruit that is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and full of flavor.  We think serious chefs, and the general public, will become enamored with tamarillo once it gets more exposure. Our products using New Zealand Tamarillo have sweet/tart notes of red berries, with very complex herbal flavors.  The New Zealand Tamarillo pulp and vinegar are exclusive products of Serious Foodie, and can be purchased in service quantities.



The company was started by a father and son team with a great story:  Jim Pachence, Ph.D. is the biotech guy turned chef, while Paul Pachence adds his years of creative talent to branding and marketing.
