Winning schools will receive devices, STEAM equipment and carts for their classrooms
Chicago IL – CDI Technologies (formerly CDI Computer Dealers) has selected the winners of its annual “Holiday Wishes” contest. It will grant technology wishes for three schools in the United States and three in Canada.
The winning schools in the U.S. are:
- Cole R-1 School District in Missouri which asked for help to replace the aging computers being used by teachers.
- Montrose Community Schools in Michigan which requested Chromebooks for teachers to use in the classrooms.
- Soulsbyville Elementary in California which requested equipment for its STEAM lab.
The winning schools in Canada are:
- Edmonton Catholic Schools in Alberta which asked for Chromebooks for its grade 12 students who need extra accommodations for exams.
- Turtle River School Division in Manitoba which asked for Chromebooks to pilot in classrooms as it moves toward its goal of a 1:1 student-to-device ratio.
- Grasslands Public Schools in Alberta, which asked for charging carts for its Chromebooks.
Each winner will receive products or services up to $1,000 in value from CDI Technologies to help their technology wishes come true.
