FIL DOUX TEXTILES BRINGS BROOKLYN TO HD EXPO 2019
Debuting Brooklyn Bound Collection and Returning Sponsors of the Show-Stopping Party by the Pool
(New York, NY - May 15, 2019) - Fil Doux Textiles will exhibit two new collections at HD Expo (#2707), including a collaboration with artist and textile designer Elodie Blanchard, alongside Crest Leather by Fil Doux Textiles. The company is also sponsoring the popular Party by The Pool event with their second rendition of synchronized swimmers, which takes place in conjunction with the show, running from May 15-17th in Las Vegas.
Fil Doux Textiles partnered with fiber artist Elodie Blanchard for their Brooklyn Bound collection of woven patterns with an eye-catching digital print, named for the New York borough where both Blanchard and the company are headquartered. It encompasses five patterns named after different Brooklyn neighborhoods, ranging from Brighton Beach, a large-scale braid design, to the unusual texture of Prospect Heights, a mid-scale digital pattern with layered organic shapes for a fresh, whimsical look.
The Atelier Collection features seven art-inspired designs: there’s Brushstroke, an ode to great pointillist artists like Seurat and Signac with soulful colors layered in brushstroke-like impressions; Free Form, which is woven to look like a free-hand sketch; and Watercolor, with inky ribbons of color hand-painted on a woven backdrop.
