FOAT is designed to help the field installer quickly evaluate jumper installations.
Designed for the Cable & Telco install industries, FOAT delivers a versatile, affordable and quality solution to any fiber network installation project. Optical Power Meter
The Optical Power Meter is equipped with a large LCD screen and is small, light, and easy to carry. It can be widely used in testing of LAN and WAN metropolitan networks. It can be used to test Fiber loss accurately, to check the Fiber continuity, and to help evaluate the transmission quality of Fiber chain with the laser source. It can be used to test Optical Power within the range of 800 ~ 1700nm wavelength, with the unit as nW, µW, mW, dB, dBm, and its display resolution level and test accuracy are high. There are 850nm, 1300nm, 1310nm, 1490nm, 1550nm, and 1625nm, six kinds of wavelength calibration points using the built-in light source.
PON Power Meter
This ruggedized PON Power Meter device is specially designed for PON network construction and maintenance which can be connected between OLT and ONT. The voice, data, video signal (1310nm/1490nm/1550nm) online can be measured synchronous and optical power value can be displayed with this meter. It has special burst mode measurement function and you can process accurate burst optical power measurement to upstream PON signal of 1310nm.
