IMALAC PRESENTS NURTURE BY IMALAC AT THE JPMA SHOW IN ORLANDO, FL

Experience Nurture by Imalac during the show at the Start-Up Pavilion at Booth #C-13

MIAMI, FL (April 10, 2019) - Imalac, a medical technology company, is presenting Nurture by Imalac for today's modern mom at the 2019 JPMA Show: Built for Baby. Taking place April 10-13, JPMA is the only combined baby and children's product conference, trade show and consumer baby show in North America.

Designed from a mom's perspective, Nurture by Imalac is a breast massage system for nursing and pumping mothers that provides gentle compression to replicate hands-on pumping. Nurture mimics the hand expression technique recommended by lactation consultants, either when used alone or while pumping. Using Nurture while pumping has shown a reduction in pump time by 72.3% and allows for full emptying of the breast, correlating to up to 32% more milk per pumping session.

"Nurture came to life when I was an investor and board member of a startup company that ultimately failed to create a solution for breastfeeding mothers.  My co-founder and daughter Rachael Kish was nursing her first child at the time and volunteered to be a beta tester,” said Noreen Sablotsky, Co-Founder of Imalac. “The company’s goal resonated with both of us so when Rachael got pregnant with her second child, she convinced me that we needed to create a solution ourselves. That’s when we started Imalac,” Noreen added.

How Does Nurture by Imalac Work?

The bra component of Nurture, designed by top lingerie designers, is stylish and comfortable for all-day wear. When a woman is ready to begin a pumping session, she slides Nurture’s massage cups into the bra, fastens them into place and connects the controller. She attaches her electric breast pump (pump not included) and presses start on Nurture and her breast pump. Nurture’s massage parameters can be adjusted to personal preference for pressure, speed and hold time, and can be saved for future sessions on Nurture’s smart phone app.
