LA FITNESS TRAINER SAYS QUIT YOUR WORKOUT

TO STAY FIT

Breaking the Traditional Routine of Fitness with Freedom, Ownership, and Flexibility

Personal Trainer Meghan Meredith says the best way to stay in shape throughout the year to quit your workout and start a movement movement. The accomplished certified trainer has created a tool that allows individuals to take their fitness into their own hands with a guided planner that is all about movement, but with flexibility and grace.  Her philosophy is one with a focus on freedom, wellness, and body stewardship of living an active lifestyle and less about gym sessions, weight loss, and vanity. The book is called Whole Body Fitness: A Self-Guided Fitness Planner and will be available before summer.

Meghan is a Health and Wellness Coach and the founder ofHomeBodySoul, a lifestyle wellness brand for women. After witnessing her mother fight for her life from Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer, Meghan was determined to help others learn how to best care for themselves from a body stewardship perspective. Meghan's approach to health/fitness is unique in that she not only wants women to get stronger physically, but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Another goal is to shift individuals away from the rigidity of costly gym classes to incorporating movement into every aspect of the day.  She provides a simple structure for empowering women to steward their bodies, making wellness a way of living through intentional activity. “I thought it was important to create this type of wellness program because I saw a great need to make fitness more accessible, affordable and attainable,” says Meredith.  “I firmly believe fitness does not have to be formal to be formative.”

The meticulously designed 7x9 spiral bound planner was created for women of all ages and fitness levels to conveniently carry with them.  It’s structured to provide a sense of accountability, but with flexibility. The daily-guided pages allows the user to choose and track their own exercises for that day's routine based on their preference and ability, all of which can be done at home or on the road and no gym required. Meredith also included an 80-page appendix with 160 images demonstrating the proper form for each exercise option to ensure safe and effective execution.  An encouraging selection of inspiring quotes to keep the movement process motivating can be found generously sprinkled throughout the guide, as well.

Meghan recently successfully funded Whole Body Fitness through the crowd funding platform, Kickstarter, and raised enough funds needed for her first print run. The planner will retail for $52 but can be pre-ordered now through April 2018 for $45 while the early bird offering is available.  Visit Whole Body Fitness at bit.ly/wholebodyfitness to check out her Kickstarter campaign!
