“We realize the market is constantly looking for new styles and trends in stationery and desk organization. We wanted to develop styles that were trend forward but also unique, functional and offered mass appeal” said Michelle Gangi, Director of Product Development at U Brands.

National Stationery Show, in its 73rd year, partners with New York Now to deliver two dynamic trade shows under one roof – New York City’s Javits Center. National Stationery Show 2019 brings in over 400 exhibiting company and 10,000 worldwide trade professionals and continues to be the leading industry tradeshow for all things paper and stationery.

Growing Trend

Fashion stationery has continued to see market growth as a larger population of employers are supporting tele- commuting and work from home environments. Consumers now have many more choices than the traditional black binder clips and acrylic paper trays of the past.

“People want to make a statement and personalize their office space. Whether they are working in a cubicle or in a home office, people want to surround themselves with tools that make them feel at their best and that foster a successful work environment.” CEO, Michael Cerillo stated.

Retailers are taking note of this and it is not uncommon to see three to five distinct desk organization product lines at store. U Brands, leveraging their expertise in the stationery category and year over year market sales data, have created two distinct looks unlike what is in market today. Arc, U Brands’ most unique line to launch, is reminiscent of Scandinavian design with heavy, durable construction and a bold color pallet.

Vena takes the trendy wire line infiltrating the market and adds an upscale and designer touch. These three new desk lines will enable boutiques to offer unique and trend forward designs at affordable price points to the consumer.
