The first ALTUS Adventure Course was built in 1997 in the French Alps. Altus then not only continued to operate courses, but also soon became a High Wire Adventure Course design and construction company.
Our objective is to provide users with high quality installations and equipment. User safety has always been a priority, we were therefore involved in establishing the European standard (EN15567) for High Wire Ropes Courses. We have implemented over 300 projects worldwide. Our experience in both course construction and course management, as well as on-going research and development to ensure innovation, have allowed us to become a major contributor to the industry.
