KOHLER AND STERLING RETURN TO PACIFIC COAST BUILDERS CONFERENCE

Kitchen and Bath leaders showcase newest products in San Francisco

KOHLER, Wis. (May 28, 2019) – Kohler, a global leader in the design and innovation of kitchen and bath products, and Sterling, a KOHLER company, return to the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) 2019 to showcase the latest offerings.  Dedicated to advancing the art, science and business of housing, PCBC is the largest homebuilding tradeshow representing the west coast region.

Products highlighted by Kohler and Sterling at this year’s show include:

KOHLER

DTV Mode: With many homeowners gravitating towards spa-like bathrooms, specifying a digital valve and shower system can be one of the most effective ways to provide this experience.  Kohler’s DTV Mode provides the most popular digital features, including a warm up mode to purge pipes of cold water and another to heat water to any desired temperature. Controlled with a sleek dial that mimics a more traditional mechanical valve, the system is ideal for a customer’s first digital showering solution or for those who prefer the aesthetic of a physical control valve versus a touch screen interface.

Verdera® Voice Lighted Mirror: The Verdera® Voice Lighted Mirror with Amazon Alexa is the first-to-market bathroom lighted mirror available to consumers that has Amazon Alexa embedded.  Voice control allows for effortless functionality associated with playing music, receiving traffic updates, or adding items to a grocery list, all without creating clutter in the bathroom.

Cast Iron Shadows Collection: Understanding a growing desire for more color within the home setting, Kohler introduces the Shadows Collection for Enameled Cast Iron products. Comprised of three vibrant hues, including Lavender Grey, Indigo Blue and Black Plum, the Shadows collection is an intuitive fit for any kitchen or bathroom. The new colors are available on several bathroom and kitchen products including the Whitehaven Kitchen Sink showcased at PCBC 2019.

Hint Faucet – Translating the growing trend of modern design in the bathroom at an attainable price point for builders, project work and value-conscience homeowners, Kohler recently launched the Hint bathroom faucet collection. The collection offers several configurations including single control, centerset and widespread faucet options, as well as a deck-mount bath faucet with handshower.

STERLING

Brella™ Comfort Height® Toilet: The Brella is the first toilet from the Sterling Brand to offer a skirted trapway – a feature many consumers prefer with smooth sides that ease cleaning by eliminating the areas where dust and dirt often collect. Equipped with a ReadyLock™ mounting system, the Brella toilet commands a powerful flush performance at 1.28 gpf for a cleaner bowl. Comfort Height seating also ensures safer and easier sitting and standing during use. The new toilet is also ADA compliant allowing for maximum accessibility in any bathroom setting.

Spectacle™ Freestanding Bath: Designed with elegance and comfort in mind, Sterling’s first freestanding bath delivers on exceptional quality and affordable price point.  Available in two sizes including 60”x 32” (water capacity of 65 gallons) and 66” x 34” (water capacity of 79 gallons), Spectacle features a sloped lumbar support on each end for an enhanced bathing experience. The offset center drain is toe-touch activated and comes in Polished Chrome finish for seamless integration into any bathroom design. Spectacle also includes an integral overflow and a textured bottom surface.

Sunfield™ Lighted Mirrors:  Sterling’s Sunfield™ lighted mirrors are an easy, affordable upgrade from sconce lighting, providing a flood of natural light from the perimeter for a more confident and empowered daily routine. The mirror’s greater than 90% true-to-daylight Color Rendering Index (CRI) ensures an accurate reflection and color representation. Available in four sizes including, 23” round, 20” x 24” rectangle, 37” x 24” rectangle, and 56” x 24” rectangle, the mirror’s sleek, clean design seamlessly integrates into any bathroom space. Additionally, a French cleat mounting system and plug in electrical connection allow for easy installation.

In addition to a variety of new product offerings, Kohler recently re-launched its Pro Toolbox website, a cohesive resource that provides industry insights, promotional materials and other tools to help building professionals grow their business.
