Custom Top-Seal PET films are just a first example. The "resealable" system of the new Carton Pack films is based on mono-material packaging technologies, achieving, thanks also to thickness optimization, the reduction of disposal costs and environmental impact.
The use of materials such as FSC certified cardboard and paper, 100% food-grade R-PET, PLA and many other eco-friendly solutions, gives to customers a wide range of reliable solutions for every kind of packaging application.

CARTON PACK has recently developed an innovative and environmental friendly new technology: CartonPET®. The R-PET is subjected to a complex processing during extrusion to achieve a specific microstructure which gives to CartonPET® trays their unique lightweight and superlative thermal insulating properties.
CartonPET® is a groundbreaking, eco-sustainable alternative to standard R-PET containers for fruit, vegetables and fresh-cut food.
The structure of a CartonPET® container achieves very low specific weights (-50% compared to same R-PET tray); the functional and mechanical characteristics of a CartonPET® container are equal to R-PET ones.
CartonPET® is made up to 100% recycled material that assures the lowest environmental impact. It has an outstanding appeal as it looks like containers made of paper or cardboard. Furthermore, CartonPET® has a crisp backdrop and a remarkably smooth surface (any color provided).

In Carton Pack ustainability means to employ intelligent technologies in energy and raw materials consumption and to safeguard the environment at every stage of the production and distribution process. Carton Pack has implemented its production facilities with a photovoltaic system that produces a peak power of 726 KW with a consequent average output of about 1.000.000 KW/year (PVGis data), thus lowering the CO2 emissions by about 530 tons/year.
