(NYSE American: BDR) to bring the new InfoValue NXG IPTV module to market. The NXG IPTV module powered by InfoValue allows Cable, Fiber Optic and Telco Operators to support Hospitality, Enterprise, and Healthcare customers in managing all their video services from one location, integrated directly into Service Operator’s video distribution system. With the InfoValue NXG IPTV module, there is no need to purchase additional servers to provide a management middleware solution to customers. Now customers can simply add the NXG IPTV module to a Blonder Tongue Labs NeXgen Gateway (NXG) headend, and use InfoValue’s award winning IPTV middleware platform.
The InfoValue NXG IPTV module provides:
- Ease-of-use – With a central configuration, everything is self-contained at one property location within a Blonder Tongue 5-RU NXG hot-swap capable headend
- Cost reduction – Customers no longer have to power, manage, and pay for an additional separate server unit. With the InfoValue NXG IPTV module, customers: reduce space, reduce power usage, reduce delivery and installation costs, as well as server costs
- Power reduction – Using existing power rails within the NeXGen Gateway, there are no added power outlets required and no need for supplying separate UPS
- Rack Space Efficiency – customers save valuable rack space by simply adding an NXG module
