The Gottex 2020 collection is designed for all women, from the classic to the modern, all with a touch of glam and sophistication. This year’s collection includes new techniques, more modern shapes and a variety of new textures and soft fabrics. Two collections have multiple delivery dates: Cruise and Spring.
This year's collection is divided into 3 sub-categories: Couture, Collection and The Essentials.
Couture is our most glamorous and highest price point sub-category offering an elevated level of swimwear. All styles within the collection feature unique fabrics, extravagant embroideries and exclusive shapes that create a luxurious, sophisticated look.
Collection is the heart of the Gottex collection, offering a range of products for classic and modern women. There are a few contour groups that offer shapewear that focuses on fit and control while maintaining a fashionable aspect. Our contour suit “shapes your body into perfection.” The collection is built on strong prints alongside solid groups, which is a growing trend.
The Essentials is a more conservative category for a woman who wants the Gottex essence at a more obtainable price point.
This year’s advertising campaign for the Gottex Collection was shot on the beaches of Israel with a sandy background of beaches and cliffs. The campaign features Brazilian Supermodel Isabeli Fontana. She has appeared on the Covers of many magazines, including Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Marie Claire, ELLE, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Numéro.
Fontana has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns, including Chanel, Bulgari, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Revlon, Roberto Cavalli, Rosa Chá, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, Versace, and Victoria’s Secret.
With more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram and an image that is relatable to our customers, Isabeli was a natural choice for this year’s presenter. She is a working mother, a health and beauty aficionado and a big fan of the beach.
The 2020 collection is divided into four leading inspiration stories:
Pop Block is a colorful story of modern geometric prints. Stripes, color blocks and brushstrokes are main elements found in this inspiration. The styles in this storyline use cuts and placements of the prints that are unique and trendy so as to flatter the female form.
Garden Party is a floral i-inspired and is a focal aspect in the Gottex collection. Modern leaves and tropical flowers alongside classic and hand-painted flowers to create a holiday feel.
Retro Chic shows a nautical trend that recurs in swimwear, and this year is met with retro scarf prints, belts and braids to create a new look. Red, navy, olive and yellow as well as gold accessories used to create groups that are inspired by maritime.
Animal Instinct makes use of animal prints that are strong in the fashion world today and have always been a key inspiration for the Gottex brand. Leopard in neutral colors with gold accents creates an elegant and timeless look.
Glam Galaxy takes celestial inspiration for the high- end Couture collection. Each design is named after a star in our galaxy and is inspired by the look and associations with the galactic brilliance. The collection is a unique concept that is breathtaking and other worldly.
This story includes soft and elegant fabrics, luxurious embroideries and unique mesh designs in black, grey, silver, white and bronze. The styles are extremely detailed with interesting cuts that flatter the figure, including combinations of varied fabrics, floral embroideries, geometric shapes and inserts. Included are sexy high-leg styles, one shoulder and a new long sleeve style, each created with a special detail.
Each Couture collection piece is sold at all International retailers with an exclusive pouch and a unique golden hangtag describing the limited-edition product.
