I’m Natalie and I adore patterns, design and all-things paper products! I grew up in Toronto, Canada and currently reside in Salisbury, CT with my husband and two young daughters. I love colorful shoes, ol’ school caramels and, secertly (or maybe not so secretly) wish I lived in the fictional town of Cabot Cove, ME.
I left corporate America to follow my entrepreneurial aspirations of establishing my own small business that would incorporate more creativity in my daily life. In addition to designing paper goods, I also own a small design firm that helps other small business owners, predominantly women, craft their brand. I specialize in designing logos and marketing materials.
When things slow down (ha!), I blog about my daily life of owning a small business, designing, parenthood and all the good, bad and crazy ‘in between’.

I established mavisBLUE.com in 2016 shortly after giving birth to my first child.
I am a small business owner and part-time graphic designer who left my corporate career to follow a more entrepreneurial path that would intentionally include more creativity and room to craft my own brand of products that I love. Doing so also allowed me to pursue a life-long dream of working for myself.

I created mavisBLUE.com to encompass all of my creative ventures. My goal is to encourage smiles and create connection through my greeting cards. I design childrens’ prints to help busy parents easily decorate their little people spaces with clever, whimsical and fun artwork—I believe all spaces have the power to promote positive personalities!

Mavis has always been my favorite name. However, when my little girls arrived, the name didn’t fit their personalities. I was destined to have someone take ownership of the name so when I formed my small business, it all clicked. Blue just happens to be my favorite color so when both names met--it was a perfect coupling!
