Mother-Daughter creative team launch Good Postage
Summer 2019
(ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, August 2019) Jane Manfredi graduated from The School of the Art Institute where she studied illustration. While illustrating a children’s book, she and mom Karen Manfredi dreamed of a greeting card and paper goods company where Jane’s warm and beautiful illustrations would be the star. After a year of drawing and planning, Good Postage launched in early 2019.
Good Postage is based in Asheville, North Carolina where the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains provide a creative and supportive space for small businesses to grow. Jane and Karen carefully choose recycled papers for the cards and stationery, and recycled cotton fiber paper for the art prints to be printed on in nearby Charlotte, NC at an independent small printer. Packaging is kept to a minimum and intended to be easily recycled or composted. Value is place on working with small companies for their personal connection and environmental awareness.
The product line includes A2 greeting cards, Postcards, Flat Note Stationery Sets and Stickers. Jane and Karen are marketing to modern and young card shops, art shops, book stores and gift shops.
