BETHLEHEM, PA – June 13, 2019 — B. Braun Medical Inc. will showcase its extensive portfolio of chronic care products at the upcoming 51st annual Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Conference, WOCNext 2019. This show will take place from June 23-25, 2019 at Music City Center in Nashville, TN.
As part of ongoing efforts to improve patients’ quality of life, B. Braun invites attendees to visit booth #513 and learn more about B. Braun and myostoTM. There will be an opportunity to have photos taken at the “myosto photo booth”, to share stoma stories, and learn more about how myosto is a support resource for ostomates.
Information will be available about myosto-mylife.com, a website where ostomates, caregivers, and healthcare professionals can find educational information, resources for support, and product information. The website is designed to help individuals navigate the ostomy care journey and includes daily living tips as well as patients’ stories on lifestyle and product experiences. Requests for product samples are also available through the website.
In booth #513 at WOCNext, B. Braun will feature:
- The “myosto photo booth” where attendees are welcomed to take photos and share #stomastories
- Flexima® 3S ostomy products, which include a two-piece mechanical coupling system offering flat and convex base plates as well as closed, Roll'Up (drainable), urostomy and high output pouches. The B. Braun High Output System will also be featured.
- Actreen® Catheters and Sets including Actreen Mini and new Actreen Hi-Lite. The simple and discreet Actreen family of products are designed for convenient use.
- Prontosan® Wound Solutions and Gels, designed for wound management. The Prontosan family of products offers two ingredients in the wound solutions and gels that combine to maximize cleansing power. PHMB (Polyhexanide) functions as a preservative (also found in contact lens solution) that inhibits the growth of micro-organisms within the product. Betaine (surfactant) is a surface-active cleanser that provides immediate debridement.
