New England Region Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society Ostomy Teddy Bears & Books Donation to Boston Children's Hospital

The New England Region of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse’s Society has helped spread some cheer at Boston Children’s Hospital! The Board members have decided on behalf of the region to make a monetary donation of $1000 to give Ostomy Teddy Bears and Books to 34 pediatric ostomates at Boston Children’s Colorectal and Pelvic Malformation Center. The bears have stomas with ostomy pouches and the book is called Awesome Ollie. These are some of the staff members who were so excited to check them out at BCH. The UOAA and Boston Children’s Hospital would like to thank the region for the generous donation on behalf of their patients.
