CARVE DESIGNS TO DEBUT NEW FALL COLLECTION AT SURF EXPO IN ORLANDO, January 8-10, 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARVE DESIGNS TO DEBUT NEW FALL COLLECTION AT SURF EXPO IN ORLANDO, January 8-10, 2020

Sausalito, CA (December 10, 2019) – Fulfilling the needs of busy, style-conscious and active women, lifestyle brand Carve Designs will exhibit swim, surf and ready-to-wear styles from their Fall 2020 collection at the upcoming Surf Expo at Booth #2626 in Orlando, Florida, on January 8-10th, 2020.

Influenced by their travels and childhoods growing up on the East Coast, Carve Designs’ founders were inspired by the vibrant colors of the rich coast and waterways of southeast America. Pairing the brand’s innate beach lifestyle with effortless femininity that is both modern and beautiful, the collection was curated into three color stories: “Journey to Wilmington” (inspired by the coastal waters off of Wilmington, with deep blues and sandy tones), “Deep in the Appalachian Trail” (inspired by the green mountains of the Appalachian Trail, with a connectedness to the farmland and its farmers that bridge the mountains to the coast), and “The Southern Charm” (inspired by the effortless femininity of the south). The swimwear in the collection includes a wide variety of heritage prints to mix and match along with silhouettes and styles for every woman to feel comfortable at the beach.

“The Fall swim line is an important extension to Spring and a chance for retailers to infuse some beautiful new colors and prints into their stores. Prints, which is what we really thrive off. Our design team worked hard on blending the color stories seamlessly between swim and apparel, celebrating a seasonal refresh to our best-selling new and heritage silhouettes. It all flows so smoothly, and she will be thrilled having our soft fabric, stylish details, and prints inspired by the femininity of the southeast with the fun functionality of the brand. ” Says Jen Hinton, Co-founder, and Creative Director

In efforts of continuing to respect the founding principles of making everyone feel welcomed at the beach, Carve Designs increased the number of styles offered in a wider range of swimwear top sizes (A-DD) already in Spring 2020, not just in bikini tops but also tankinis and one-piece swimsuits. This trend will continue to grow and the efforts put on fitting each individual style on the larger chest and making silhouette specific adjustments remains crucial for the brand. Each style of top has an individual fit and level of support, depending on the body type it is designed for, and so each style is re-engineered to offer the same proven active support for the larger chest.

Jen Hinton emphasizes this by saying “We take boobs seriously, and we have an office full of different shapes and forms to learn from.”

As a key highlight at Surf Expo, Carve Designs is excited to showcase its full-length neoprene free 1mm wetsuits alternative, the Sadie Sleeveless, in its existing Land To Sea fabric. Warmth, breathability, and flexibility come together in this material, acting as the perfect piece to grab for a surf, paddle, kiteboarding session, or other adventure where the water's your friend. This stunning suite can be topped off with the Stella Zip Up Jacket on those colder days where she wants full coverage.  Both are boasting the new top-selling Wailuku print.

With all swim, sunshirts, sundresses, and rashguards boasting UPF50+, Carve Designs continues to offer critical sun protection without compromising. Dedicated to sustainability, Carve Designs continues its commitment to social responsibility by utilizing its innovative fabrics. The UPF 50+ Fly Weight collection offers worry-free sun protection in a recycled sporty yet feminine fabric that is soft and light as air. The brand is also expanding the use of their Acqua Terra fabric which contains recycled polyester made from plastic bottles, production, and consumer waste, reducing impact and toxic emissions. The sustainable Coconut Balsa fabric is a result of an upcycling process where discarded coconut shells, plastic bottles, production, and consumer waste repurposed into yarn treated with a PFOA and PFC free DWR – all reducing toxins while taking care of the oceans. On a larger scale, beginning in Spring 2020, Carve Designs will also be using 100% compostable poly bags and all products will have recycled hangtags printed with soy ink.
