New York (February 2020) – After making their online debut in Spring 2018, New York-based Indian home textiles brand Marigold Living is exhibiting at NY NOW Winter Market for the first time with a booth in the Home Furnishings & Textiles section. Marigold Living will be previewing new lines and showing staple designs, including patterns that were a part of the brand’s core introductions in 2018, and new collections released in 2019. Product spanning all categories will be on display, including bedding, table linens, home accessories, scarves and curtains. All pieces are handmade by talented artisans in India who specialize in these wide-ranging, regional-specific crafts.

Marigold Living’s preview of spring collections includes two new pattern sets - the Aizel Collection and the Carnation-Delta Collection, with both patterns shown and available in bedding and table linen sets. The Aizel Collection is a patchwork assortment of soft yet vibrant floral designs in blues, pinks, oranges and greens, with multiple designs to mix and match, as well as reversible options in bedding pieces. In addition to offering a traditional, kantha quilt in this design, it is the brand’s first time offering a fluffy cotton quilt in a patchwork arrangement. The Carnation-Delta Collection is an indigo-dyed collection mixing bright reds and dark indigo blues, and will be Marigold Living’s first indigo printed bedding collection.

About Marigold Living
Marigold Living’s founder grew up in Mumbai surrounded by Indian textiles and handicrafts, and at an early age cultivated a taste for unique, handmade goods. But after moving to New York in 1995, she realized these authentically made pieces aren’t as easily sourced in the US. To contribute to her love of a global, collected style, she launched Marigold Living to bring fine artisanal Indian home decor, linens and accessories directly to the US consumers. All Marigold Living products are handcrafted by skilled craftspeople using ancient techniques. Whether weaving, dyeing, wood block printing, hand stitching or embroidering, the textiles are created in small batches and come from various regions across India, each renowned for their particular skills and aesthetics. Marigold Living sources all of their textiles from nonprofits and for-profit businesses that support grassroots communities of local Indian craftspeople. These range from large businesses to small workshops and individual designers who work directly with artisans to create collections exclusively for Marigold Living. Marigold Living is committed to keeping one of India's oldest and most prolific industries relevant in contemporary everyday living by creating handcrafted goods for modern life.
