This year, Genius Plaza is coming in hot! Many schools have shown interest in our Connect and Collaborate program, an innovative way to level the playing field for students across cities, continents, countries, and coordinates so they can build relationships, strengthen skills such as tolerance, communication, awareness of a world beyond their scope, and much more.
Our newly redesigned teacher dashboard allows educators to have control over the workload and ease the communication between students - parents - teachers. They can easily assign homework, and students can choose the way they best deem fit to learn: via eBook, a video, and exercise, a game, and more! Students can choose from thousands of resources.
Genius Plaza has premium content consisting of eBooks, videos, exercises, and the Millionaire game! Students can have fun learning through our interactive videos or reading one of our many eBooks available in 80+ languages.
We are amplifying our MEET our Champions roster with a broader representation that transcends borders so our users, students from every corner of the world, can learn from people such as Twayaga Faustino, a teacher who has impacted students' lives since 1965.
He recalls attending Makere University and learning about geography and figuring out how it relates to farming, being an avid farmer himself. He has taught his students the patience of harvesting and the discipline of working the crops, transferring knowledge to their burgeoning minds to, eventually, hatch a better world for tomorrow.
Along with Faustino, there are other champions from Fortune 500 companies such as Uber, Morgan Stanley, Johnson & Johnson, and more, who come from situations that are less than ideal and have overcome cultural stereotypes and misconceptions to reach executive positions. Having conquered the business world, they feel the desire to give back, and in doing so, they volunteer a few hours a week to talk to students to encourage them to stay in school to pursue their dreams.
This is just the tip of the iceberg!
