Hands-Free Gate Control

Oak Brook, IL, June 12, 2019 — LiftMaster®, a leading brand of professionally installed perimeter access control solutions, today announced it has added RFID to its comprehensive line of access control accessories. The new proprietary LiftMaster RFID Long-Range Reader (LMSC1000) and Vehicle Tags make it easy for community managers to add a hands-free access solution to their LiftMaster Gate Operator, helping to enhance user convenience and improve vehicle flow to and from a property.

LiftMaster’s new RFID Long-Range Reader and Vehicle Tags work seamlessly with LiftMaster CAPXL and CAP2D access control systems for hands-free control of a LiftMaster Gate Operator. The non-transferable, dual-purpose Vehicle RFID Tags (LMUNTG) can be universally applied to the headlamp or windshield. Also available is a rearview mirror RFID Hangtag (LMHNTG) that is a convenient solution for guest passes, loaner vehicles, student/faculty parking and employee access control. All RFID tags work exclusively with the LiftMaster RFID Reader that is capable of reading vehicles’ tags from 20 to 30 feet away. When used with LiftMaster’s CAPXL Access Control System, all vehicle access data is logged and accessible via alerts and customizable reports through myQÒ Business™ for added security and control.
