Tracks: Direct Reduction Technology Research & Development

Simulation of the reducing process of roasted high-phosphorus oolitic hematite pellet in a shaft furnace was studied, and the kinetics of the gas-based reduction process is also discussed. Results show that there is a positive correlation between the metallization ratio of high-phosphorus oolitic hematite roasted pellet and reduction temperature, reduction gas flow and CO/H2. The controlling step of the reduction reaction rate was investigated, and the effective coefficient of diffusion (D), the reaction constants (k) and the apparent activation energy of the reaction were calculated.
