New Developments in Cokemaking
Paul Wurth has commissioned the new cokemaking plant of CSPecem, located in Ceara, Brazil, comprising jumbo batteries, gas treatment and byproduct plants. The batteries are based on Paul Wurth’s “jumbo oven concept.” It's the first time that such a battery type is installed in the Americas. This solution incorporates all the most modern features and design, with the goal of a long lifetime, putting a particular attention on environmental performance. The new coking plant integrates state-of-the-art Paul Wurth cokemaking technologies, such as SUPRACOK™ process control and automation, the Paul Wurth Lo-Mo coke quenching system, and SOPRECO® Single Oven PREssure Control.
