Diversity, Inclusion, Cultural Competence, Best Practices - terms we hear frequently, are often added as afterthoughts in addressing patient care, and are becoming increasingly important in our rapidly changing health care landscape and social climate. We can address this ongoing learning curve by developing skills and understanding concepts beyond the etiquette and protocol of diverse populations. This session will introduce, review and provide opportunity to apply this learning through thoughtful conversation and compassionate care for ourselves and our patients.
