Education individuals and groups outside the “walls of the institution and creating a culture of compliance. It is paramount those who have the most influence on our student-athletes (family members) are educated. How to establish a relationship with stakeholders before an issue arises. Rules education is more than an email blast to a list serve; it is building and maintain relationships and being proactive – not just communicating when an issue arises. What can current parents of student-athletes provide other student-athletes? Does compliance go to events in which SA families attend? Do you sit in the stands with the SA parents on game days?
