Social Justice

After this session, attendees should be able to:

  1. Describe how to increase awareness and understanding of microaggressions.
  2. Discuss microaggressions experiencesand outcomes.
  3. Discuss ways to respond when someone has been microaggressive.
  4. Discuss inclusive language skills.

Program Abstract:
Many college health programs are in pursuit of tools and resources to meet the needs of diverse communities on campus. This program will help college health professionals increase awareness for microagressions and inclusive language.
