This training covers the basics of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) applicable to Technology and Software transfers in addition to the NIST 800-171 compliance that is necessary for processing, storing and transmitting the Covered Defense Information (CDI). Topics will include the Embargoes and Other Country Specific Controls, Technology Types, Publicly Available Technology and Fundamental Research, Hiring Foreign Persons (Deemed Export), Licensing and License Exceptions for the ECCN 6xx series items, U.S. Munitions List, ITAR Registration Requirements, Licensing and Agreements under ITAR, as well as review of the Cybersecurity and documentation requirements for the compliance with the NIST 800-171.
