Agribusiness production accounts for one-third of the world economy. From harvest until processing, agribusiness generates a great amount of waste, which ends up being a problem. The use of agribusiness waste in the blast furnace injection may be feasible, replacing part of coal. Research has shown that waste from the cultivation of sugarcane in Brazil, corn in the United States and Moringa in India, can be used to bring gains. This paper makes a chemical, physical and thermal comparison of some agribusiness waste that can be injected into the blast furnace along with coal.
