The revitalization of the metals industry involves the influx of many new personnel, both in operations and maintenance. In the past, new employees simply followed a senior team member around to transfer the needed knowledge and skills to be successful. However, with the aging workforce and influx of a young generation of workers, organizations need a more systematic training approach. The PRECISION training methodology focuses on planning for the future and recalling prior knowledge, including example videos, classroom activities, interactive screens, safety information, instructor resources, on-the-job training and allowing trainers to navigate with ease.
