A new combination bar, bar-in-coil and wire rod mill has recently been commissioned at YongXing Special Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. in China, for production of numerous stainless grades, including austenitic, ferritic, dual-phase and hardening steels. The new rolling mill has capabilities for rolling products from 4.5 to 130 mm, with quenching and heat treatment facilities to maximize in-line processing. The mill also includes new innovations such as stepless coil reforming for wire rod and optical bar counting. YongXing is now able to meet the demands of customers seeking special grades for applications in industries such as aerospace and petrochemical.
