Safety in industrial plants is an objective value in terms of productivity, quality and efficiency. However, safety is frequently seen as an obstacle to accessibility and the possibility of intervening during the process. Danieli robotic solutions, applied for years in the melting area (EAF/LF physical sampling and temperature measurements), in the casting area (shroud manipulation, sampling, emergency lancing and powder distribution), in the tracking of semi-finished products (marking, tagging, mix detection), and in the skimming of galvanizing baths for coils, have shown to reduce operator accidents by more than 90%.
