Turn Industrial Facilities’ DERs Into Revenue Generating Assets (Room 320)

Tracks: Energy & Utilities

Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) like solar, battery storage, combined heat and power, backup generation, and fuel cells offer industrial organizations great opportunities to offset their energy spends. Implementing one or more DERs typically saves money by using electricity from the grid during off-peak hours and from their DER assets during on-peak hours. Integrating automation into building management systems enables CPower to automatically engage DERs during emergency events and dramatically reduce a facility’s demand from the grid. This presentation explores how industrial organizations can generate dollars from DERs and contribute to a balanced, reliable grid critical to operations.
