Failure Analysis of Feed Gas Tubes Used in Direct Reduction Plants (Room 402)

Feed gas tubes are one of the main parts in the natural gas reformer of a DRI plant. The failure of one of the feed gas tubes was the starting point to discover the cause of the abrupt breakage of the part. After a very extent work of failure analysis, the root cause of the failure was determined and as a result a plan for replacement of these parts was established and then implemented.
