Using the lens of Christian (Anglican) practice, we will consider the enjoyment of wine as a form of embodied spirituality. The experience of drinking and appreciating wine, especially in community, is certainly rewarding for its sensual pleasure. But when connected to ancient rituals expressive of the divine, we can also derive spiritual meaning from the experience. Join us for a discussion of the spiritual practice and meaning of drinking wine. And, depending on logistics, we will meet afterwards at a separate venue for tasting.
