Tucson Orthopedic surgeon John Klein had a lifelong dream to summit Mt. Everest, the highest peak in the world. After summiting dozens of challenging technical peaks around the world, Dr. Klein decided to fulfill his dream in April of 2017. Enduring a chest cold that he acquired at Base Camp and enduring the loss of his vision on summit day, he successfully summited. This is his story.
