There is an assumption that having flexibility for configuration, programmability and feature rich sensor modules come with a high price tag. This session will show how this can be accomplished very efficiently and a minimal cost. The method described allows one sensor module to be used for multiple applications. Attendees will learn how to maintain high quality while still supporting low cost, that it is still possible to produce high accuracy sensor modules without the burden of software development in the main processor, and how to support many features starting from a base platform and reconfigure based on your customer needs - optimizing for the lowest possible cost.
