Abstract:

Cornell University's comprehensive research programs in materials science, electronics, photonics, nanotechnology, robotics, and other high tech areas have led to strong innovative technology portfolios. Many of these inventions have been successfully licensed to industry partners or new ventures. As the industry is rapidly changing and adapting to new technologies and business models, Cornell is keen to work with its commercial partners to best support collaborations and innovations.

The Center for Technology Licensing (CTL) is the technology transfer arm of Cornell University. It manages intellectual property, markets technologies, and negotiates industry business deals with the goal to support societal benefit.  It also engages in promoting entrepreneurship and new venture formation through technology startups to foster economic development.

CTL will present exciting opportunities related to its technology portfolios in, among others, electronic circuit design, non-volatile memory (including MRAM), wireless communications, silicon photonics, and MEMS during the meeting to explore and continue collaborations with new and existing partners.
