Japanese Whisky and sake, once only known as an ingredient in Bomb shots, are gaining attention around the world from novices, aficionados and creative bartenders looking to widen their horizons. More and more Japanese whisky and sake brands are hitting the US market and many consumers expect to see at least 1 or 2 at their favorite bars. Learn everything from what Japanese whisky is and how it is different from other types of whisky, how it is made, different styles, how to use sake in creative ways, and much more. Noon and Michael will end the session with a collection of cocktails and recipes from fellow USBG members featuring Japanese whisky and sake.
