In response to the 2015-2016 Presidential Initiative on Anti-Bullying and Interpersonal Violence, the Impact Project aims to publicly honor people who have left a positive impact on others, oftentimes without knowing so. At a time when numbers of people experience bullying, interpersonal violence, and suicide, one goal of this project is to promote dignity and empowerment and give voice to the many ways people influence, inspire, and encourage one another. Attendees will gain understanding of the Impact Project, which involves social media, letter writing, photos and videos, or other creative means in which people can tell their impact story. #KnowYourImpact.
