Hoarding Disorder (HD) is a new DSM-5 diagnosis. This session will explain the history of and diagnostic criteria for hoarding disorder. An in-depth overview of assessment strategies will be provided, and counselor considerations will be explored. Evidence-based clinical interventions for HD will be outlined, and a case study will be used for practical application.
