Despite significant advancements related to social justice and multicultural counseling, there is minimal work defining an interrelationship. This session will provide an in-depth exploration of the fit between multicultural counseling and social justice counseling as they apply to training, research, and practice; examine the next steps in moving these two key components forward; and present specific counseling strategies to employ multicultural and social justice strategies in counseling practice.
