The presenters will share the findings of a grounded theory study examining the successful social justice strategies used by mental health counselors inside and outside of their community-based and private practice settings. Study findings included a diverse participant sample. Attendees will be invited to apply the study findings to their own settings and address potential barriers and opportunities to social justice change, and they will receive a handout and bibliography on social justice advocacy and mental health counseling.
