This poster session presents a framework for establishing group dialogues on professional counselor identity and advocacy in educational, practitioner, and supervisory settings. The session considers how counseling professionals from different specialties, work settings, academic levels, training backgrounds, and nationalities can share a professional identity as counselors. Additionally, the presenters will discuss advocacy for the profession through ensuring that professionals are qualified, trained, and focused on excellence.
