After a brief check-in, this LI will provide an in-depth overview of changes made from the DSM-IV-TR to the DSM-5. Attendees will receive a hard copy of the PowerPoint lecture with space for notes, a copy of the WHODAS notecards, and 20 one-page tip sheets on the basic diagnostic criteria, counselor considerations, and evidence-based practices for 20 common DSM-5 diagnoses. Case study application will be used to practice step-by-step non-axial diagnoses.
