As digital controls and smart meters become commonplace, property management teams are faced with an overwhelming amount of data. Using analytics software, industry leading owners are using that data to improve comfort and reduce operating costs in their buildings. In 2016 The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) launched the Smart Energy Analytics Campaign to support the use of these analytics technologies, and has assisted 185+ million square feet to date. This presentation focuses on attributes of class-leading analytics through case studies, offering lessons learned to successfully leverage the power of data.
